Not worth the hassle

We stayed for 5 nights, and while the bar and bartender were awesome, the check-in was a mess. We were booked in a non-pet room despite letting them know about our dogs. Our room also had no A/C, which totally sucked. Definitely felt overpriced for the overall experience.

We had an incredible stay! The expansive breakfast buffet was one of the best I've ever seen, and I loved the spacious room with a comfy bed. The delicious quesadillas at the manager's reception were a highlight, too!

The Liyo Inn features beautiful décor, accessible entrances, and a lovely pool area, making it very enjoyable for seniors like me. The staff was attentive, providing assistance whenever I needed it, which added to my overall comfort.

More lighting in hallways would be beneficial.

the room was super clean and came with a comfy bed, refrigerator, and microwave. A nice seating area. the heated pool was perfect for relaxing, and the fitness center had great equipment. everything felt accessible, and the staff were attentive to my needs, making the stay even better.

Unfortunately, the hotel's current renovation feels like it’s been dragging on forever, and it shows in the dusty corners and outdated facilities. The elevator regularly breaks down, and when I had issues with my key card, it felt like a hassle just getting the elevator to work. Basic room features like the shower lever were broken, leading to an experience that felt more irritating than enjoyable. Worst of all, cleanliness seemed to be a forgotten priority, with reports of dirty bathrooms and unkempt public areas that make you second-guess your surroundings.

I loved my stay because the hotel was just a short walk from the Hunterdon Art Museum and the Red Mill Museum Village, making it super easy to enjoy local culture and history, and I found the nearby Spruce Run Recreation Area a great spot for relaxing nature views after a busy day of exploring.

It was just a perfect match for a trip in Clinton with high value for money. I really appreciated the salad they allowed me to take from the dinner event despite the issues with the steak. Next time, just be careful about the food and check with staff on their policies.
